The T\u00e9cnico’s Master of Business Engineering (MBE) in Space Systems involves several LARSyS units and represents a groundbreaking postgraduate initiative designed to address the evolving demands of the global space sector. Over a 12-month (60-ECTS) curriculum, this programme fosters deep collaboration with large and small firms, including start-ups, and public agencies in defense, security and space.<\/p>\n
The MBE in Space Systems employs a problem-driven, project-based training. Participants are immersed in real-world challenges articulated by industrial needs and aligned with ongoing space missions and strategies in Europe, including the development of the “Atlantic Constellation” under the emerging framework for “European Resilience from Space”. It considers 3 components over 12 months (60 ECTS): i) Innovation & Research Project in industry or partner institution (36-ECTS); ii) Three Remote advanced courses (Systems, AI, Astrodynamics; 18-ECTS); and iii) Three concentration weeks @IST, with seminars by international experts: technology, policy, business (6-ECTS).<\/p>\n
