Getting Started
How do I start using the facility?
Start by contacting us with your research question, sample type, and the technique or measurement you are interested in. We will help you choose the right method and define the next step.
Do I need prior experience with the instruments?
No. New users receive hands-on training before independent use. Training is adapted to your background, experience level, and intended measurements.
Can I use the instruments independently?
Yes, after training and approval by the facility staff. Some instruments or advanced experiments may still require supervision or direct support from facility staff.
Booking Instruments
How do I book instrument time?
Instrument time is booked at the QReserve Platform only after consultation and training. Trained users can request access to the booking platform or arrange assisted sessions with the facility staff.
Fees and Support
Are there fees for using the equipment?
Yes. Instrument time, service, and staff-assisted sessions are charged at hourly rates, which vary by instrument and user category. Contact us for a full rate card.
What if I need help during a session?
Facility staff is always available to support users with instrument setup, acquisition settings, troubleshooting, and data quality checks.

Do I need to acknowledge the facility?
Yes. Work supported by facility equipment and staff should be acknowledged in reports, theses, publications, posters, and presentations.
